Be careful who you fulfill your dreams with, you are bound to fall for them.
Don't write romance novels with someone you don't intend to get involved with, it happens too often.
DO NOT under any circumstances combine those two.
That said I do not regret my choice. My life is many times improved from what I enjoyed when I was writing here on a regular basis. I am spending time working on my real life instead of my virtual one. I am committed to someone I really love, and who loves me without condition on either side for the first time in either of our lives. I wish I had time to play, but I had to do my own roof, while continuing to work full time. I am nearly finished and expect next weekend will actually be the last time I need to get up on the roof for a long time, provided fixing and passing inspection also fixes the leak.
Next though I will go back to work on editing the novel. I am taking the story in such a different direction that existed here. It was fun to play with the concepts, but having the base material to create a decent sized novel is great. Remaking a world is an immense task, but one which I think is worth doing, and I am loving it. Someday maybe as soon as the next six months I will be able to start looking for publishers. And a dream is born from the ashes that was my formerly WoW anesthetized existence.
Now the game is that a game, no longer wish fulfillment. A game I wish I could return to sooner rather than later, but my computer blowing up makes that harder.
God bless, Via con Dios and yes I will get back to regular writing, just not sure when.
